Dr. R. Baratha Raja

Dr. R. Baratha Raja, who has achieved Hon’ble Doctorate Award in 2003 wrote a book on and also awarded best fabric printer in 2004 from Screen Printing Association of India (SPAI), Delhi. We are proud to say that he give training to about 12,00,000 people of different walks of life, which helps his students to do printing by themselves and earn a livelihood of their own in all over India, SriLanka, Mauritius, Malaysia, Singapore etc...

He has been conferred with the Lifetime Achivement Award from the Global Pravasi Malayalee Association in Manchester, U.K. Additionally he has also been several other achivement awards from Germany, Russia, Malaysia and Sri Lanka. He learned himself by many of old and new printing techniques for all over the world and after that he studied his students all these techniques by practical and theoritical. As a costume designer he did many Cinemas and Stage Works.

Dr. R. Baratha Raja has also scripted a book on screen printing for which he has been conferred an Honorary Doctorate from Sri Lanka. He got Varnachippi Award from the Lions Club International in 1988, the Best Textile Printing Award in New Delhi by the all India Textile Printing Association in 2002, and the Sri Chithira Thirunal Award at Thiruvananthapuram in 2008.

His various type of fabric printing technology programme telecasted in our National Channel, DD Malayalam, DD Podhigai, DD Saptagiri, DD Chandana and Star Vijay, Kairali among 1800 episodes.
